Newsletter
For the week of October 15
In Our Classroom:
We begin our unit study of poetry this week. Most people have a love-hate relationship with poetry (they love it or they hate it!). This week our focus will be in the style and form of different kinds of poetry. We will begin a more in depth study of several authors next week. Look forward to some light reading assignments for homework, but come to class prepared!
Around Campus:
It's Homecoming Week! Support your class & show off your school spirit by participating in homecoming activities. I full schedule of planned activities can be found in the lobby. Be sure to pre-order your tickets for the football game & dance on Friday night. See any SGA member or sponsor (like me!) to do this.
Looking Ahead:
- Midterms are in two short weeks & Fall Break is the following week. Plan accordingly so you may enjoy every second of your vacation time! (I know I am!)
- The ACT will be offered in November. It's not too late to sign up; talk to your counselor today!
