Our mission in education is to prepare our students for the world outside the classroom by giving them the knowledge, tools, skills and experience they need to grow into responsible, productive, effective adults. In the 21st Century classroom, this mission is impossible without utilizing technology as part of our school experience for students. We strive to incorporate technology as an integral part of our classrooms just as it is a part of our everyday lives outside school. We use technology effectively and responsibly; it is our goal to achieve and maintain a 1:1 student/device ratio. Information about our upcoming switch to digital textbooks will be available after fall break, and a Q&A seminar will be held for parents, students and teachers. You are encouraged to attend this conference, and you can access more about our county's tech policies are available in the Conduct Policy (pg 15).
The webpages associated with this section are a product of my own personal education technology training I received at Athens State University as part of my Minor degree and teacher education. Technology is an interest and passion of my own, and I love discovering new tools I can use in the classroom. If you have any questions or suggestions concerning what our class is doing at any given time, please feel free to contact me. I'd love to hear from you!
